Picasion & more...

So, after some playing around with screen captures and Picasion, I was able to put together a decent slideshow including a bunch of different things. The only issue I ran into, actually, was trying to upload a picture to my Twitter account. I tried multiple photos of multiple sizes, all within Twitter's size parameter. But alas, no luck. Anyway, I thought this was a fun project and now another piece of the web I can stick in the mental rolodex for another day. I'm learning how to use a number of web technologies which is great.

WizIq, WebEx & More...

Well, back to the grind for another semester. I am begining to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It won't be long now...

Anyway... Automation Foundation (http://automationfoundationbusinesscard.pbworks.com/) met for the first time online using WizIq on January 31, 2011.  I would say, like everyone probably, we had our ups and downs. We were able to get past them and put together a clear and creative business card.  The individual feedback form was helpful because it gives you an opportunity to reflect as well as plan ahead. I also completed the WDYDWYD assignment which I thought was fun. (https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/8WjmVQ6_7K3ZpUfD3WBYIw?feat=directlink) I used a picture that my wife took while we were driving to the Gorge from Seattle, last May. Some pretty incredible sights along the way. The picture immediately popped into my head after I came up with concept of why do i do what i do. I try to be as creative and original as possible when creating projects. I am certainly looking forward to learning how to use all of this new online technology. I have been using computers heavily for 10+ years and most of this is brand new to me. I have a feeling this technology, information and usage will be some of the more tangible and practical things I take away from MSMC... and poverty, of course.
